Kryon supports four payment paths. The available options at checkout depend on your platform and region.
Stripe — international cards
Pays with a debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Apple Pay and Google Pay are also offered through Stripe when supported by your device and browser. Auto-renewal is enabled by default and can be disabled in Profile → Subscription.
Best for: most countries outside Russia.
YooKassa — Russian cards
Pays with a card issued by a Russian bank, including NSPK / Mir cards. Currency: RUB. Auto-renewal works via saved payment method. If three consecutive auto-renewal attempts fail, the saved method is deactivated and you'll need to re-enter card details.
Best for: customers in Russia.
Cryptomus — cryptocurrency
Pays with USDT (Tether). Network is selected at checkout (TRC20, ERC20, BEP20, and others depending on availability). Network fees are paid by you on top of the price.
- Crypto payments do not auto-renew. Each renewal is a manual purchase.
- Crypto payments are not refundable — see refund policy.
Best for: users who prefer crypto or where cards are not accepted.
App Store / Google Play (in-app purchase)
When you buy from the iOS, macOS, or Android app, the purchase goes through Apple or Google. Subscription is managed by the store — auto-renewal is on by default and can be cancelled in:
- iOS / macOS — Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Kryon VPN
- Android — Google Play → Subscriptions → Kryon VPN
Only IAP purchases include the 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
Which method should I use?
- In Russia — YooKassa or Cryptomus
- Other countries with a regular card — Stripe
- No card / privacy preference — Cryptomus
- From iOS / macOS / Android app, want a trial — App Store or Google Play
Why doesn't my card work?
- Stripe checkout asks for 3D Secure on most cards — confirm via SMS or banking app
- A Russian card on Stripe will be declined — use YooKassa instead
- A foreign card on YooKassa may be declined — use Stripe instead
